The Community Development Project started with the purpose of showing the love of Jesus in action among those who are poor in society. This program focuses on the socially and economically backward communities and provides opportunities for developing skills in income generation and resources to enable access to education, health awareness, and a few basic facilities. The range of activities includes training in employment-oriented skills for women like tailoring, embroidery, and detergent making.

A) Income Generation Programs (Future Vision of RAN)

The inhumanity of poverty is becoming more known in the world day by day. The basic reality in most Asian homes is that even though the economic conditions are deplorable, women are not allowed to work outside the home. The traditional cultural practices keep women homebound with no means of earning an income. And some women in villages would not have opportunities of employment even if they wanted to work. So this program is designed to help equip such women with skills with which they can work from home and support and sustain their families. Training in tailoring, detergent making, and other types of needlework allows these women to work at home.
